Getting There

Public transport

You'll find it easy to get around Wellington; it's so compact you can walk almost anywhere. However, if you do need transport, taxis, buses and trains are easily accessible. Find out more about getting around Wellington.

Nearest bus stop: The Courtenay Place transport hub is located just across the road from the Embassy Theatre, with frequent buses and taxis readily available. Hop off at bus stop 5500 or 5516. The Embassy Theatre is a short walk across the road.

Nearest parking: We recommend you give yourself plenty of time to find a car park prior to your show. There is convenient street parking nearby as well as several other car parking areas close to the venue.

Wheelchair accessibility: The Embassy is wheelchair accessible and have wheelchair and special needs allocated seating. To request accessible seating tickets, please call the Ticketmaster Contact Centre on 09 970 9711 or email [email protected]. Service hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 9.00pm; Saturday and Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm (excludes Public Holidays). Accessible toilets: Both the men's and women's toilets downstairs are accessible and are marked with the ISA symbol both on the outer door and the accessible toilet door.

Accessible parking: Accessible parking spaces are available in the surrounding streets.

Hearing loop: Headsets are available on request which connect directly into the sound system.
